Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Pontianak menggelar lomba TBI TALENT SEEKERS yang bertema Discover Your Limit and Break It!

TBI TALENT SEEKERS digelar untuk mewadahi minat dan bakat mahasiswa se-FTIK secara umum dan khususnya bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Bahasa Inggris. Lomba ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 s.d. 4 Desember 2022 di Aula FTIK yang dihadiri oleh beberapa Ketua Umum HMPS se-FTIK, ketua sema dan dema FTIK, serta beberapa mahasiswa FTIK. Beberapa mahasiswa yang ikut berkontribusi pada kegiatan lomba TBI TALENT SEEKERS berasal dari prodi PAI, PGMI, dan tentunya prodi TBI sendiri.

TBI TALENT SEEKERS dibuka oleh Ma’am Primatasha Desvira Dizza, M.Pd. selaku Dosen pembimbing kegiatan. Juri dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah dosen dari program Studi Tadris Bahasa Inggris, diantaranya Mrs. Primatasha Desvira Dizza,M.Pd., Mrs. Riska Anggraini,M.Pd., dan Imam Aryo Pramoto. Adapun peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 13 orang.

Kegiatan ini diadakan dengan harapan bisa menjadi wadah bagi para mahasiswa FTIK untuk menunjukkan serta mengembangkan bakatnya. Feni Nurhaliza selaku Ketua Umum HMPS TBI IAIN Pontianak menyampaikan harapannya “Saya berharap agar event TBI Talent Seeker ini dapat diadakan di tahun berikutnya, dan mahasiswa TBI sendiri bisa berantusias untuk menjadi peserta“.

Pemenang dalam ajang pencarian bakat ini di antaranya yaitu:

  1. Juara 1 Zia Putri Nurjannah (Mahasiswa TBI semester 1)
  2. Juara 2 Tika Ayu Lestari (Mahasiswa TBI semester 1)
  3. Juara 3 Abiyyu Oeasama Febriyans (Mahasiswa PAI semester 1)
  4. Juara Terfavorit Nur Sodiq (Mahasiswa TBI semester 1)

Lomba ini berjalan dengan lancar dan ditutup dengan serangkaian hiburan dan pengumuman pemenang lomba. Closing ceremony dihadiri oleh Ma’am Nanik Shobikah M.Pd. selaku Sekprodi yang menutup acara tersebut. Tidak hanya itu, peserta yang belum beruntung juga diberikan sertifikat dan bingkisan sebagai bentuk apresiasi dari panitia.
